CNN —At least 10 people are dead and 27 others have been injured after two trains collided in southeast India Sunday, Reuters reports. The collision derailed two coaches carrying more than 90 people on the stationary train, the official told Reuters. Sunday’s collision comes just four months after a separate train accident in Odisha, where three trains collided, leaving 275 people dead and more than 1,000 injured. Rescue operations are underway at the accident site, and all of the injured have been moved to hospitals, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said on X. “The Prime Minister extends condolences to the bereaved families and prays that the injured recover soon.”

In a statement Thursday, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said it was “deeply shocked” by the verdict and would take up the matter with Qatari authorities. “We are in touch with the family members and the legal team, and we are exploring all legal options,” the statement said. Guangwen Kuang, the head of administration at Vivo India, was taken into custody on Tuesday by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED), his lawyer, Mudit Jain, told CNN. The ED is the country’s main financial crimes investigation agency, responsible for probing money laundering and violations of foreign exchange laws. July 17 (Reuters) - Fox Corp (FOXA.O) on Monday named Anjali Sud, the former longtime head of video-sharing platform Vimeo, as the chief executive of its streaming service Tubi. Sud recently stepped down as the CEO of Vimeo, after about nine years at the streaming platform. She will report into Tubi Media Group CEO Paul Cheesbrough. Before Vimeo, Sud held positions in finance, media and e-commerce at Time Warner and Amazon.com. In a restructuring in April, Fox created Tubi Media Group to house the streaming service along with some of Fox's news, sports and entertainment digital platforms.

Both the companies have set July 13 as the "record date" to swap HDFC's shares with HDFC Bank's stock for its shareholders, HDFC and HDFC Bank said in separate exchange filings on Friday. With the share swap, HDFC Bank will become one of the world's top 10 banks in terms of market capitalisation, as per Refinitiv data. After the merger, HDFC Bank has no identified promoter. With the merger, HDFC Bank's total loan book will be over 22 trillion rupees, behind only that of State Bank of India (SBI.NS), the country’s largest lender. Both the entities have set July 12 as a record date for transfer of non-convertible debentures of HDFC in the name of HDFC Bank.
